How is your gut, your digestion, your bowel movement? I feel it is so important to discuss these, especially if we are feeling tired, moody and simply not energetic. We are often taught to ignore these experiences, or to just ‘hope’ they will go away and settle down by themselves, but in essence when we are in harmony with our gut health (which includes how we digest, absorb and process food & drink) and when we take a look at optimising our gut health, we simply THRIVE so much more!
If we could see how our gut health influences our capacity to think clearly and how much energy we derive from healthy digestion, many would do something about improving it! Our gut health affects our nervous system and our temperament! It affects the capacity of our body to be renewed and optimised! Thankfully, these days it is established science that our gut health is reflected in how we think, feel and intrinsically how healthy and energetic we feel in life! It is MASSIVE how much the gut microbiome affects our lives! It even affects our sleep, and vice versa! But that topic is discussed on my other page, which can be explored here.
I am passionate about holistic thriving and have generally lived a healthy lifestyle and had a great relationship with food, where the joy of eating was intertwined with my body’s need for nutrition and low toxicity.
As I grew older and went through major hormonal shifts, my gut also became more sensitive, especially to gluten! I could feel how profoundly this affected my sense of wellbeing, cognitive function and vibrancy! Even my vision was affected!
I have researched deeply about gut health, the microbiome and essentially our central brain as some have come to call the gut!
I now see from a yogic and microbiological, neurobiochemical and psychophysiological perspective a wholeness and entire picture! When we are aligned with gut health, we feel empowered, centred and committed to our life being the best possible, according to us. We have the guts to kniw the difference between what is a yes or a no for us, and we have the courage to speak up, and to stay true to what our gut tells us.
How was your relationship with food in your childhood? Much of our relationship to food and our bodies was conditioned during those powerful formative years. Were you able to leave food on your plate and choose what you wanted to eat in general? Did your parents or caregivers model a healthy relationship with food to you? Or were they rushing and not feeling the joy of eating? Or were your family dynamics much about food, to have big gatherings and the more that was served and eaten, the more it symbolised that you are happy, healthy and loved? Every example has its own dynamics that you may have subconsciously running in the background, and these determine your innate connection or disconnection to your body, food and digestion. Moreover, these conditionings from childhood represent safety, survival, wellbeing to us, whether they are actually healthy or not. Your unconscious programming is designed to keep you alive, and if it worked during childhood to have you survive, it marks this as positive and safe, even if it was far from optimum.
Whatever I research and discover I tend to share in my yoga classes, YouTubes and seminars/retreats or 1:1 – group classes if appropriate/timely. I knew years ago that this is also a business model for many thought-leaders or teachers out there. However: I cannot just recommend anything in order to create more income. My highest value is my health, my next two values are integrity and authenticity: this all includes physical and mental health. My mental health only accepts transparency, integrity and honesty with myself and all. Therefore, until I found something I truly resonate with and feel 100% positive about, ethically and production wise, I cannot recommend it. Bt when I discover something amazing, pure and integrous, I’ll shout it to the rooftops, metaphorically speaking.
I am excited to share that I have finally come across a product that I have used, love and feel amazing about in every way.
The product (link below) supports your healthy gut, in so many ways, and is super easy to use every day! The ingredients are pure and effective and my body loves them! I have actually created gut healing to such a degree that if I want to eat food with gluten in it, I can! I rarely do, but if I am wishing to, the experience is the way it used to be years ago, before my body reacted to gluten: totally fine!
So it is pure joy for me to share this info with you, and in you getting the incredible benefits of a healthier gut (which equals more energy, reduced if not wiped out brain fog, more vitality, no bloating etc.) I am also able to receive some pocket money to pay my bills. Win-win!
Enjoy and reach out with ANY questions you may have!!! I could literally write an essay here! And there is much more I am sharing after the videos below, like what this product can help you with, the benefits you may gain and how to recognise if you have gut issues.
Here is the link for you to explore the amazing product set. And if you have the time, keep reading more about gut health and also what’s inside the product below.
More about the importance of gut health and how my recommendation will support you into greater thriving:
Gut health is essential to healthy living. This means:
- making sure you have the right balance of good bacteria in your gut
- making sure you’re getting the right nutrients
These go hand in hand because when your gut health is not right, it affects your whole body. A healthy, balanced gut helps you to:
- Process food and absorb nutrients critical for optimal and sustained energy.
- Support a strong immune system. A significant 70% of the immune system resides in the gut, where diverse bacteria are best.
- Regulate your hormones, particularly those associated with hunger, fullness, satiety, and appetite (or cravings) for certain foods.
- Stabilise and support your overall mood and happiness. Did you know that 96% of the serotonin in your body, which is responsible for making you feel happy and good, originates from your gut? An unhappy digestive system can affect your mental health, leading to low moods, brain fog, lack of focus, irritability, anxiety, and diminished mental clarity.
- Improve and maintain healthy sleep patterns. A good night’s rest is essential for our immune system, clarity and concentration, reducing inflammation and supporting healthy body weight.
- Support healthy metabolism and ability to maintain a healthy body weight
- Support healthy, glowing skin.
- Maintain optimal well-being.
Over 1000 different species of gut bacteria thrive and strive to maintain your health every day. Your gut contains more bacteria than the total number of cells in your body, so giving them some TLC and prioritising their care in your daily health routine is vital!

Why use nutritional supplements?
The majority of people do not get enough REAL food into their diets, as we are relying increasingly on processed or convenience foods. Therefore we are usually lacking protein, good fats, vitamins and minerals. With a balanced diet you will find macronutrients and micronutrients, both of which are essential nutrients we must get from food sources because our bodies cannot make them on their own. The three main macronutrients are carbohydrates, fats and protein, while micronutrients include vitamins and minerals.
The human body requires 13 different types of minerals to maintain overall health, including:
- magnesium and others
We need these nutrients for purposes including muscular movement, nerve signalling, cardiovascular functions, growth, development and more. Minerals are found in nature but not made by humans. Although we need both, minerals in our diets are a bit different than vitamins because vitamins are made by plants or animals, while minerals come from soil and water. Minerals make their way into the foods we eat by being absorbed by plants and animals, which we then eat. However, our soils are heavy and void of nutrients which is contributing to a lack of minerals in our food.
Supplements are ‘easy buttons’ and a way to get nutrient dense fast food to help us ensure we’re getting the proper nutrients in the proper proportions in our day.
Select supplements aid in our nutrient uptake, digestive health and essential vitamin and mineral delivery.
These supplements are what make the program manageable for most and give us the greatest chance of success during and long-after the program. While the supplements are important and align to boost our results and success with very specific elements of the program, the 30 Day Healthy Living Program will always be first and foremost about whole, balanced, clean nutrition.
