Blog three: Staying in alignment

STAYING IN ALIGNMENT

Finding our unique inner balance is the key to a happy, fulfilling life.

Finding our unique inner balance is the key to a happy, fulfilling life.

But what exactly is that balance, you might ask?

And yes, this so-called balance is different for everyone! And it can change easily too.

The idea is to choose your closest alignment to your most balanced life according to your unique priorities and needs.

Often we talk of a balanced pie chart, where you might wish to contemplate the importance, health and focus on specific areas. These typically are: self-care, family, friendships, health, career, hobbies, recreation, spirituality, growth, adventure. You could subdivide each into greater detail or generalise even more.

If we choose a few of the above, which are important to us, we will discover that if we are lopsided and focussed on just one or two areas of life, we feel imbalanced, less satisfied, feeling that something is missing.

Fine tuning what truly, deeply & vitally is important to YOU is also a fine art. Why? Because we are imbued with many layers and programmes as we grow up .. our parents or caretakers impressed value and concepts upon us, the education or lack thereof created perspectives, our experiences with significant and important people across the span of our lives has somehow influenced us in regard to what we feel is important.

I have found that some of these layers are adopted unconsciously, through a moment of necessity resonance or natural absorption. It can happen that we don’t question the origin of certain preferences and beliefs and hence lose touch with our true core essence.

What is our true core essence? It is that spark, joy and aliveness you experience when you are in your element; doing what you really love and want, spending time where your passion is. Work simply doesn’t even feel like work!

That’s right… you know what I mean.

How do we dig up our true passion and hence align our lives with and to it?

Easy .. there are ways to relax and communicate with our unconscious mind .. like a wonderful meditative state, we are in touch with our deepest selves … we see where we may have borrowed or adapted imprints from which take us away from our soul journey. Not that anything is wrong with this! Even getting so called side-tracked is part of the divine journey where you rediscover yourself in your own unique time! We learn through contrast, and losing something can often bring about the realisation of how very precious what we just lost is!

So what can you do about this? Well, possibly many things. I recommend journaling about some of the above-mentioned life categories. And ask yourself if you are satisfied in them. Check if you feel whole and complete, healthy and enjoy love, creativity, joy, freedom and success in these areas. Yes, it is all an ongoing ‘project’ called life, so it is never “done”! It is a wonderful journey of everlasting change and flux. We just aim for balance, so for example our physical health is in top condition, while we are passionate in our chosen work and vice versa. Everything is ultimately connected and affects everything else. Ultimately it is truly a unique journey of your unique life! No wrong or right. Ultimately. Just feedback and evolution. Everyone ultimately just wants to be happy and fulfilled and feel loved.

So then you can decide and contemplate what you really want from your life! Find out what your real core values and priorities are for you!

I offer a wonderful “value deep dive”, helping my divine women clients to discover easily where their values are, what they used to be and why, and how to adjust/change values that may have been set by parents or society and no longer suit your life.

You see what happens in life is that your unconscious mind is what leads and directs most of your life, and it directs you to achieve your ‘goals’ according to your unconscious values. This is why when you change and want to for example stop eating chunk food, it is so hard. You somehow found it useful when it perhaps nurtured you and served you in the past for whatever reason. And this is now an unconscious pattern. You can battle it by consciously choosing a new way to be (in this case to eat differently) and through mere force achieve change. But often that only holds up as long as you are strong and very deliberate. Why? Because you are labouring to override an unconscious programme.

So what is the solution? Well, 2 things can create new habits and releasing old ones: repetition (lots of it) or rewiring your unconscious mind. And one is instant and easy, the other takes huge effort and if you are at all tired, or in any way unconscious – boom – you tend to revert back to the old unconscious programme.

I help women to simply release unconscious patterns, which they integrate and see (the root cause) and move forward from easily .. this is a wonderful process that takes very little time .. and is non-traumatising.

So coming right back to the question of staying in alignment.. what is your life feeling like? Are you fulfilled within yourself and what you have created? Do you wish to tweak a few aspects?
